Best Customer Solutions, Inc., is an Information Technology consulting and contracting firm that specializes in IBM mainframe hardware and systems software, enterprise server technology, and mainframe connectivity to other Client/Server and e-business platforms. In particular, BCS excels in the installation, maintenance, outsourcing, technical support, and systems programming of mainframe systems software (z/OS, OS/390, CICS, DB2, DFSMS, VTAM, TCP/IP, etc.) and related 3rd Party products (Omegamon, CA1, CICSCEMT, TPX, etc.). While the mainframe environment has been the core of our business for years, when Client/Server and then the Internet has emerged, we've been at the forefront of coupling those technologies with mainframe-based, critical business systems. BCS is always aggressively pursuing this new technology in the mainframe arena.

Company History

Best Customer Solutions was incorporated in 1993, in Plover, Wisconsin, and was immediately chosen to convert a batch-oriented print formatting product to an online, network printing product which ran under CICS. This conversion was completed on schedule, and was immediately implemented by an insurance company in Paris, France. This project set the standard for future projects, and as those projects were performed, the BCS staff created deliverables such as project plan Starter Kits and skills transfer materials which could be used in future, similar projects. During its existence, BCS has:

  • Performed IMS/DC to CICS conversions.
  • Provided 24x7 systems programming support to mid-sized mainframe operation.
  • Performed many z/OS, OS/390, CICS, and DB2 upgrades.
  • Performed a variety of z/OS and CICS Performance & Tuning Analysis.
  • Converted a tape operation from CA1 to RMM.
  • In general, performed the gamut of tasks required to support and enhance mainframe business systems.
